Thank you for taking time to review Vector Security. I hope that you did not mistake us with another company with Vector in the title as we do not have any IT Help Desk Technicians in the D.C. area.

Pros

A lot of management has been there for a over 10 years.

Cons

It's hard to move up, favoritism is very much present. They are a legacy company having a hard time finding footing in the new era of tech.

Thank you for your constructive feedback and also your acknowledgement of the tenure of our management team. We apologize it took us awhile to answer this review. There were glitches in the system and we weren't notified of these reviews until recently. In the last month, we have announced the record year that Vector Security Networks had, which is very favorable. We sincerely hope that helps with your insecurity of them finding their way through the new tech era. As for the rest of your review, we will be sharing with senior management as we take these comments very seriously. Thank you again for submitting this. We wish you many more favorable years at Vector Security.

Pros

The general benefits that the company gives. Flexibility in schedule. The tech pool generally helps out if needed.

Cons

The telling of a end of year bonus that changes to fit the need of whatever the company sees fit. Being told one thing and handed something else. Admin not really going to bat for you. Left hand doesn’t know what the right hand is doing. Everyone needs your skill set but no payoff for continually helping. Plenty of negative analogies.

Thank you very much for your favorable review of our benefits and flexible schedules. We work hard to make sure our benefits are competitive and also that we can meet the needs of all team members as we realize that flexibility is a benefit as well. Every month we communicate how the company is doing financially against their goals. The Win Together Bonus program was rolled out to support our Win as a Team Value. As you know, the program is based on our performance against our earnings goal so the payout is a percentage based on how well our performance is within a certain range. The more we exceed our goal, the more we can payout to each participate. We communicate how well we are doing monthly to all of our team members as well to keep all informed of our progress. The payout is based on the company success and not individual success. If you are not getting these monthly messages, please let your manager or HRBP know so you can be kept up to date and knowledgeable of how well the company is doing. Thank you again for your review. I wish you many more successful years at Vector Security.
