Its great if you never want to see your family ever again.

Cons

You will be traveling %100 of the time. You will be gone for 2 - 3 week periods. Here is the kicker, they will make you travel to the site on a Sunday (your weekend time with family) be on site for 2-3 weeks then fly you home on a friday just to be home for 24 hours before they ship you back out on Sunday for another 2-3 weeks. You will NOT be able to spend more than 48 hours at home with family every month. They will make you share 1 rental car with another co worker while you are shipped out so dont expect to have your own free time doing anything on your own clock while you are out of town. You will have little life and 0 free will.

Definitely takes time to be accepted by long time employees. Definitely have to prove your worth time and time again before you receive any recognition
