Pros

Fun company to work with Benefits MTO Great and generous discount Team members you work with Free product Engaging contests National sales meeting where you really get to network with the company

Cons

Upper management just doesn't get it They don't listen to advice/suggestions from them field They say "own your business" but, you are micromanaged from top to bottom. Expect to turn in a lot of reports and be on the computer a lot Was loyal for almost 6 years and did not receive the favor in return... Real bummer on that

Pros

Great discount. Pay is above average for retail. Customers are nice and friendly. Team sales versus individual sales. A beautiful store with an expensive piece of art on the wall.

Cons

Company fired one of the two Assistant Managers due to a company wide policy because of lower sales. In our store they kept the Assistant Manager that had more issues and was less qualified because she had more time in her position. BIG MISTAKE. Upper Management does not listen to employees and HR always sides with management regardless of the truth. Almost every associate has left and management and HR still haven't addressed the issues. Now that Assistant Manager is a Manager. The tardy policy is a joke, the new manager strolls in late within days of her promotion, however the associates are tardy after 1 minute. A backwards way to set an example.

Pros

They give a decent discount, certain positions pay well, they care about people (not so much their store level employees this is more for corporate).

Cons

Their operational policies and procedures are a disaster they would rather focus their time on visuals and making the store look cute. Store level management is a joke, they all put on the "I'm professional" act meanwhile they are all in their 40's and 50's and act less mature than the 18 year old sales associations Management is hypocritical, telling the associates to not do specific things like "talk about coworkers" or "dont talk about personal issues on the sales floor" then they turn around and do the same thing as if its fine because its a "manager" doing it. They cant really fire someone so they will give you 5 hours a week (even though company policy is a minimum of 10). If something happens to you and you contact corporate the manager will make stories up to try and cover their tails even if it means you get in trouble for it. Dont work for this company unless you're a store manager or have a plan b. Just another company putting on a cute facade meanwhile their insides are rotten.
