Pros

The mission itself is meaningful.

Cons

The workloads and hours here are brutal because most of us are already overworked. Our own supervisors normalize burnout as part of the job. We're forced to work for extended hours, but we also don't get sufficient support from the leadership. But our awful leaders are incapable of providing proper guidance and support.

Pros

Hands-on experience applying behavioral techniques in real-world settings.

Cons

The workload placed heavy emotional demands on staff while offering minimal flexibility or support. Scheduling was rigid even when situations became challenging, and guidance during difficult moments felt inconsistent. Turnover disrupted continuity and increased pressure on those who remained. Expectations stayed high despite limited resources and frequent staffing gaps. Over time, the strain outweighed the sense of purpose the work initially offered.
