The low morale makes it easy to leave and with routine cut backs to everyone except the highest earners, nothing will be missed.

Cons

If you have talent, take it somewhere else because compensation and benefits are below market. Processes are horrible, if they exist at all, and executives are either clueless or don't care. For example, the company started a "We Deliver" campaign to motivate employees, but at the same time cancelled scheduled raises so that the company could show better earnings. Rumors have it that bonuses will be cut next. Awards are given to favorites, not the deserving, so they demotivate 99% of employees.

This company's future is in peril. The payments industry is changing fast and Verifone can't keep up due to bureaucracy and poor leadership. Verifone's revenue is largely hardware - which is becoming more immaterial as folks pay with their phones.
