      No bonus for you!

      Pros

      + flexible on working from home now that the Spokane office is shutdown + gain experience with yesteryear's technology + learning what a toxic work environment really looks like

      Cons

      - salary/benefits mediocre even for Spokane - requires time tracking for every task you do down to 15 minute increments for every pay period (yes this applies even to engineers) - management will look down on anyone reporting an even 8 hour workday on their time sheet, you need to put in over 8 hours per day or you will be flagged - all 2019 employee bonuses (whether or not you had a good performance review) were revoked based on business concerns going forward for 2020 - fake agile/scrum - you will be frequently redirected from your current work to fight various fires on a regular basis - that sinking feeling that everyone has, the writing is on the wall for this once successful startup which was acquired by the Israeli based Verint

      good people, but lot's of positions moving overseas

      Pros

      Lot's of good people that want to make a difference and do the right thing. Benefits are very good and autonomy is good.

      Cons

      Many of the development, support, and implementation positions are going overseas to Scotland and India. Not a lot of room for growth domestically. Many new members of leadership do not understand the products and/or processes. No desire to get to know front line workers and their challenges. Little time for personal activities, frequent evening/overnight and weekend work, with little notice. Annual compensation raises do not keep up with inflation.

      Pros

      Talent pool within organization is subpar at best. Therefore if you have any skill in your area of expertise you'll immediately be noticed.

      Cons

      Focus is solely on revenue. Customer satisfaction isn't acknowledged. Shove integrations down clients throats as fast as possible even if it is sloppy. Company is realigned nearly monthly. I had 6 managers in 12 months, 3 of which never met with me. Company is cut throat and is laying off and firing their best employees.
