Pros

Great pay and benefits. Verizon has a lot of assets and is rapidly changing to keep up with the market. In certain areas there will be opportunity.

Cons

Some areas of the company are decreasing as the new strategy plays out. Talent is good but not great compared to other companies.

Pros

Company is going wireless and still building the FIOS network and abandoned the traditional land line. The company is poised for the future and growth. The pay and benefits are still good compared to other companies.

Cons

The company will continue to retire and reduce the number of union workers.
