Pros

Job security is somewhat better in the World's biggest telecoms company than say smaller competitors. Easy to stand out amongst the lesser talented colleagues. Excellent funding available to improve upon skills and education. Worldwide opportunities.

Cons

Easy to get 'lost' in a large corporation and not get noticed for promotions. Compensation is below industry average. Very chaotic organisation due to the legacy systems and merged entities making up the company.
