      -Feels like everyday brings positive changes to the team and product. -Ability to really own your code/work. Make the changes you want or feel are needed. -Close-knit engineering team. Every engineer has amazing ability and you can learn a lot from everyone. -Senior leadership know what they are doing and brings a sense of confidence. Everything is very transparent. -Great benefits and compensation.

      * Every person at this company makes huge contributions to the overall whole. In the case of engineering, every engineer owns large parts of the product. Contributions feel meaningful and self-driven. * Senior leadership are all experienced, inspiring, committed to employees' well being, and of good moral fiber. * Company is experiencing exceptional and uncharacteristic success for a startup of its size and funding history. * Engineering team is close-knit, with a good balance work, learning, and fun team activities. Some past activities include a group painting party, trip to the San Francisco Symphony, a day out on the bay on a private boat, board game nights, etc. Also, your colleagues will encourage you to take care of yourself. * It's exciting to show up to the office every day!

      * Verkada is moving quickly and growing fast, so you should be comfortable going with the flow at times. * If you're an engineer that expects rigorous testing with near-complete code coverage, you're not always going to find that.
