Pros
There are some really great coworkers who are over worked and under valued right along with you.
Cons
Truly great employees are under valued, over worked, and under paid. It’s obvious the executive leadership team only cared about cutting costs and making things look good on paper in order to get the sale with MetLife to go through. Many departments are running on minimal staffing with zero support from upper management. The corporate culture we had prior to the last merger has been completely wiped out. Now it’s a “be glad you still have a job and haven’t been laid off” kind of vibe. Morale is extremely low. They pile on the work and don’t give you the resources needed to get the job done. Communication is terrible. The service level provided to our members, clients, and providers are seriously lacking. At this point our only hope is that MetLife will take over and right all the wrongs we’ve been enduring under previous leadership.
