Pros

Snacks. People are nice. Cubes are decently sized.

Cons

Ancient technology stack and custom frameworks developed many years ago. Things you learn here will mostly not be applicable outside. Niche product that is probably going to go out of business due to high performing index ETFs and HFT. Leadership team is cushy and not motivated to exit - stock options are a poor investment. Salaries are below average. Benefits are expensive. Hiring friends and family into higher level positions is a common occurrence.

Great leadership, market leading product. Benefits are good, culture is good. CEO is a visionary with ability to execute. Everyone owns stock.

Cons

Product is great but very complex to learn and support. Benefits could be better. There are really very few cons to working at Vestmark
