      Pros

      Amazing opportunities for growth; excellent managers and leadership. Very collaborative and supportive environment. Lots of flexibility when it comes to crafting your own role/responsibilities. I've worked in a number of different environments throughout my career, and I cannot believe the culture that Vetcove has come to foster! It is incredible!

      Cons

      When I applied, I was nervous that the company was fully-remote (I like the in-office environment). But, upon joining, I discovered that the company does two retreats a year (sometimes international!) which brings everyone together. Thanks to the retreats, I don't find myself missing the in-office environment like I thought I would.

      Pros

      Applying to Vetcove was easily the best decision I’ve ever made. It is a phenomenal place to work for many reasons, but the two that I always highlight to others are 1) the product and 2) the people. Vetcove as a whole is such a groundbreaking product that has absolutely changed the game within vet med, so hyping it up is my favorite thing to do…but at the end of the day, my favorite part about coming to work every day has to be the incredible people I’m able to work with. Vetcove has hiring down to a science and there has never been an instance that I haven’t immediately clicked with a coworker. All of us are hardworking, intelligent, and work so seamlessly together in a way that makes our day to day super efficient, rewarding, and downright fun.

      Cons

      Things can get a little busy at times being that we’re a small team that gets A LOT done, but we’re always bringing on new folks to spread the wealth!

      managerial leadership issues very young employees, not a bad thing, but lack experience in the manager side of things While the company itself and the people there are great, the young managers seem to have a hard time communicating and providing real feedback to employees. For a company who seems to champion radical candor, there were many inconsistencies that needed to be deciphered. One slight incident to note, is that a member of the team had issues with helping others. In other words, this individual seemed to complain when asked for help rather than willingly helping a coworker.
