Pros

Willing to spend money on technology if it would affect the bottom line

Cons

Unwilling to recognize employees or spend money on them. Pay increases, if any, were minimal at best and employees would have to threaten to leave with another offer in hand before even getting management to consider paying you a competitive rate.

Dead end job - No upward mobility

Recommend

Business Outlook

Pros

The people are good to work with. IF you do your job, you have no need to worry about losing it.

Cons

There is absolutely no upward mobility, UNLESS you are willing to relocate to the home office. We have watched while people in their first year have been promoted while others that have been here 8 years or more have sat because they are in the "wrong" office. The company does not care about its customers, its employees, or anything but the bottom line. This company is owned by an investment group, so do not expect it to be run like a business. It is run to make money. Raises were given this year, but this is the first time in two years. Upper management has no direction. They do not care about customer service, which shows in their demand that tech's constantly be availavle to answer calls, rather than work issues that are existing, or hire techs to replace the people that have been lost, which would alleviate this issue. Instead, they buy other companies, and force the techs we have to start answering the phones for them, as well, with little to no training on those platforms, and open tickets for other groups because they take on the peope from those companies instead of hiring or promoting people for our own.

Change in Company Culture is Desparately Needed

Pros

* 401K matching * Leader in the industry

Cons

* Company culture is to use "fear of termination" as motivation. It's a horrible feeling to be reminded of on a daily basis * Company has grown significantly, but support departments haven't grown (i.e. HR, Payroll, Internal Help Desk) * No cohesiveness amoung departments. Every department points the finger at every other department and plays the blame game * Too many silos
