GTL offers reasonable pay for the work and a somewhat relaxed work atmosphere. The company holds a relatively strong position as a market leader within this niche industry.

Cons

For most employees, this company provided very limited room for advancement, so make sure the job and pay you negotiate are to your liking, because you'll probably be stuck with them for quite awhile. Inconsistent corporate culture from one location to the next creates some internal political power struggles.

Has been a great stepping stone for a lot of talented people.

Cons

GTL used to be an interesting place to work, with some innovative technology, and a supportive work environment. Now, it's just fortunate (for the company) that the job market in Mobile makes its employees feel as if they haven't a choice but to stay where they're at.
