Experience - they will hire into the technical support field without a degree. Benefits - the offer very competitive benefits (medical, dental, 401k, etc..)

Cons

increasing work load. often, no progressive compensation. little to no training (CE).

Pros

- Very good 401k match. They guarantee 3% match and typically match another 3% in profitable years. - Reasonably flexible work schedule. - Relatively good health insurance.

Cons

- Value profit above all else. Charging customers more fees than banks. - Only upper management qualify for bonuses. No profit sharing. - No raises since before GTL purchased our company. 2+ years w/o even a cost of living. - No path for advancement. - No pride in company or cohesion. They have a very poor reputation in the market place.

GTL matches 6% of 401k contributions, has a good employer sponsored group health insurance plan, and other employer sponsored benefits. Work schedule is flexible.

Cons

In my position at GTL there is no upward mobility. Positive feedback from management is rare and no incentives over-achieve.
