Pros

They'll hire you right out of college with little to no experience. Decent HR CEO of Trimble seems good, but still waiting for him to find a new leader for viewpoint.

Cons

Pay. If you're reading this and you've worked for viewpoint for longer than a year, your pay is falling seriously behind. All of the value of this company is sucked up by the executive suite. Employees are tools and nothing more. Remember when viewpoint was sold to Trimble? Remember how you were recognized for building that value? Yeah, i thought so. But, you get to see Manolis vacation houses on zoom, so that's something. When Dexter was sold, those employees got a years salary, as reference. Unless you're a recent college grad and need to build experience, get out. Fast.

Pros

Really strong Sales Engineers, many sales people depend on them for any kind of sale. Product is good, but not nearly as better than the competition as they think internally

Cons

Well below industry average pay, no raises, clawbacks are often, but more importantly, no one ever hits their number in new logo. Very little in terms of career development, constantly changing leadership, have a "bench" of AEs in anticipation of reps leaving, which is often. SDR team does no prospecting, only fields inbound. No tech stack to support day-to-day. Implementation is much higher than competition.

Good benefits, large company with room to grow

Cons

Starting salary is low and stays steady after many years. A new salary plan each year oftentimes reducing overall total. Expectations to do all administrative and training after hours. Customer service is a talk point not a reality.
