Pros

Chill job to keep looking for jobs. They use the position to promote from within. Network while you're here and you may find yourself an opportunity.

Cons

Nothing! They're a great company and have a sweet office in downtown Portland, right by the Hathworne bridge.

Pros

The only good pros about this company is that it could be at times laid back and the benefits are awesome of course!

Cons

The company is growing, but the employees are under so much pressure with customers. No room for growth. This company is so inconsiderate when it comes to anything. The response time for are customers is terrible. The micromanaging is terrible, everyone wants to be in charge of everything but yet they are not all on the same page. The communication between management and supervisors are all over the place when reaching out to employees.

Pros

More vacation than average, good work/life balance. Talented, generally nice coworkers. Minimal office politics. Very good, caring lower level managers/supervisors. Fairly flexible work schedule.

Cons

I agree with the "was great" review. I was brought on ~3 years ago with promises of unlimited opportunities for advancement and fast growth. The atmosphere was busy, vibrant, and optimistic. The company seemed to live up to those claims for the first year or so, but all of that is gone - hiring is all but frozen as workloads continue to rise, and raises are minimal to nonexistent for non-executives. The atmosphere is stagnant, frustrated, and a little bit fearful. What I'm seeing now are nearsighted cost-cutting measures implemented by a venture capital firm that appears to be either preparing to sell the company or go public - profitability in the short term is the goal above all else. Compensation is low for the market. We are bleeding talent away to other companies. I have seen dozens of great people leave this year. The few new hires are not of the same caliber - "you get what you pay for" is becoming very apparent. There has also been a lot of turnover in senior management. This year I have seen the CEO, President, and CFO leave to be replaced by an unknown, external appointee. Every communication around this is filled with empty corporate speak and vague, uninformative statements. The previous CEO and President weren't without their flaws, but they were gifted communicators and worked hard to establish a strong, positive culture. I have not seen any of this aptitude in the new management.
