Cons

Retaliation from Higher Ups/Medical Professionals and Execs, You will be fired based off of hear say under the guise of an "investigation" being done to clear you and provided a severance package that includes that you cannot sue them for the unjust treatment or retaliation

Pros

The only Pro is the pay

None of the Leadership have a clue of what they are doing. Village just hired people to fill seats because there is not one Practice manager that knows anything about their job, they ride the coat tail of Regional Practice Administrators that does or know anything as well. The company has no morals and treats not only their employees like nothing but also does not care about the patients. This company is the worst for discrimination and favoritism it will blow your mind. I am aware of a few people reaching out to the EEOC based off their experience with this place. This company will not last long based off the things that are going on daily inside these clinics not to mention not one clinic in the Dallas Market is on the same page. Every office does something different and any and everyone makes their own rules. I really thought I had a good thing going with this company but as time has progressed this is a absolute joke. This company needs to pay attention the the leadership they hire and know they are knowledgeable at the job they are hired for.

Pros

- competitive base pay with generous bonuses - flexible schedule with good time off policy and ability to swap shifts

Cons

- love the idea of village, but 15 min appts for patients with multiple chronic conditions isn't revolutionizing primary care - medical assistants & practice managers do not receive enough support/training to do their jobs well - biggest issue is that I am in a new market. we have almost none of the support we were told we were get (from in house testing to marketing to ancillary services like referral management to accepting Medicaid). I am sure it is better in established markets like Houston and parts of AZ & FL, but it's a struggle to try to work in a new market - there is some questionable favoritism/back door-dealing with regards to hiring/appointing clinical leadership - poor HR handling of gender/race discrimination and toxic workplace complaints
