Completely dysfunctional management and terrible pay

High hourly relative to industry standards.

Cons

No money to be made in tips because of overstaffing. 12 plus hour shifts, often without breaks. Completely inept hotel management. Terrible communication. Cheap owners trying to create a luxury property on a tiny budget.

The employees are nice and it's a laid-back environment. Management is great and doesn't micromanage you after you prove you know what you are doing.

Cons

I would say that the clientele is below middle class making the daily tip average pretty low. I had to leave and find a new career because the money was not worth coming in for anymore.
