Pros
Solid work schedule, employee cafeteria, CEO’s are nicer and more humble than upper management
Cons
This was the most toxic place I have ever worked!!! Salaried staff do NOT care about being honest and truthful and transparent with their employees!!! I worked there for less than a year and the entire time I felt like I was left out of conversations and didn’t get adequate training that would have made my time there and my job easier!!! They like to talk smack about other staff and tattletale on people who are just trying to perform their job up to hotel standards. Before I was terminated (wrongfully by the way) I was forced to sign paperwork that listed events that happened that were very random and were not things in any other workplace that would have equal termination. Instead of being given the tools for success and adequate training, I felt like I was fending for myself, and didn’t get any support from people that were supposed to be in my corner. Now I understand why the turnover rate for staff is so high: because working at a place that sucks the life out of you and drains you even when you’re not at work is terrible and not the way life should be lived for anybody. It seems like the rooftop bar gets to do whatever they want and get away with it: even though there were six or more negative reviews per week, nothing was being done about it, but the reviews for the restaurant and coffee shop were positive, yet nothing was being done to validate the employees and their hard work and make people want to continue coming to work. Also, they need to stop giving people extra points and not following the point policy correctly. Several people were wrongfully terminated because they decided to switch up the point system without getting the approval of anybody else. Good luck to anybody that applies for a job there!!! You can’t put fresh wallpaper over walls that are rotting- eventually, you have to do something to the foundation to fix it instead of just fixing up what the public sees and think you can get away with it for a long time. They like to play games and then backtrack on everything they say to try to cover up all their discrepancies, they are extremely fake and act like things are fine and then hit you with write ups and give you points for no reason, instead of teaching you what you did wrong or how you could do better next time, they wait till the incident is long past and then write you up for things that happened 4-6 weeks prior, thats very strange behavior. They love to say that they're pro employee and advocate for their staff but its all a lie.
