Pros

Work hard/play hard culture. Fast paced environment in a collaborative environment with lots of smart people. Hours are long but benefits and money is great for those that peform/work hard.

Cons

Terrible leadership. Very knee jerk and reactionary style of seagull management. Definitely a good old boys club for Italians.

Pros

Decent free food and drink benefits throughout your day.

Cons

Boiler room type of feel where clients do not matter. Not shocking for a HFT or many brokers, but they try to disguise themselves as something better or different while they just cocky elitists, who when behind closed doors the executive leadership makes clear their disdain for their clients. Toxic working environment because they employ some of the scummiest of Wall Street who they allow to run wild because they lack any proper management structure, which I think they consider a feature, not a bug. This creates constant employee conflicts/infighting to the detriment of overall business and client relationships, but again, they don't care about that. They are more pre-occupied by their public and employee image washing efforts with things like women in fintech, and trading, and analytics awards, etc, that they market constantly. That is clearly only an appeasement/silencing effort when you look at actual results of employee progression (or lack there of) through the organization of women.

Pros

Good environment with plenty of snacks and coffee

Cons

No direction, very confusing... Many people have no idea what they should work on. The motto is "just get it done" with zero direction. EOY performance review process is a joke. There is no correlation between your performance review and bonus payout. Bonuses are set prior to reviewing performance reviews...just strange. The theme is, work your butt off but unfortunately return on investment is very low.
