Pros

Casual dress and nice office in Reston, VA.

Cons

The management team are awful, greedy, people. They are constantly make changes that have deteriorated morale, culminating in substantial layoffs in departments that consistently met their goals. Pay for certain positions is vastly below local and national averages. Hard work is not rewarded and employees are misled and lied to from day one.

We are sorry to hear your frustrations. With regard to pay, we assess how we compare with the market often and are committed to providing a competitive compensation program. As for changes with personnel, we did make some changes. We acknowledge change is never easy though it’s sometimes necessary. Thank you for the feedback. Wishing you all the best in your new job!

Pros

Salary and benefits were generous. Middle management was fair to employees and very caring. Upper management, not so much.

Cons

Management's refusal to acknowledge problems with loose cannon employees.Misrepresentation of bonuses at hiring time. At hire we were told, "your compensation is X salary and X bonus." When it came time for bonuses, everyone got a fraction of what we were promised. When they were challenged on it, they said, your bonus is "up to" X amount. If it had only been one person I would have said it was a miscommunication but when a whole office has the same experience, there's something shady going on.

Thank you for your feedback. We are disappointed that you feel so negative about your experience at VIP and wish you much success in your future career endeavors. Bonus calculations at VIP follow a very specific formula/methodology and are based on the financial results achieved by the business unit. We take our client relationships very seriously and for many years have been able to maintain approximately 92% of our business coming from existing clients. We believe this validates that we treat them well, provide them with excellent service and at all times practice honesty and integrity in how we do business. Thanks again for your feedback.
