Pros

• Great location if you live in the east bay • Flexible hours/wfh options • Good cause - great doctors to support • Good 401k

Cons

• BELOW MARKET SALARIES - almost comical. Promotions take forever (1+ year after the initial conversation to even see any kind of change). • Outdated systems and processes. Despite bringing on new systems, management often chooses the most affordable option (i.e. the already outdated one). • Too many people in management that are not qualified but because they have been with the company forever. • They say they want innovation but don't really support innovations with $$$. Lots of talk is the name of their game. • Some departments are solid and others are a total mess.

Thank you for sharing your experience with us. We’re proud of our 401k match and our ability to provide our employees with flexible schedule options—we're glad you appreciate those too! We understand that the Bay Area is expensive, and we try to provide a competitive compensation package. We look at total compensation from a more holistic view to include benefits. Our 401k match is almost unheard of, and our PTO and sick time is better than most companies offer. We offer these because we care about our employees, and we want to ensure a good work-life balance. We also want to make sure everyone is set for the long haul with our amazing retirement options. We understand that not everyone may appreciate benefits for the sake of salary, however, we focus on our benefits to keep up the positive culture that we have here at Vituity. Because we care about our employees, Vituity provides many growth opportunities, including a New Manager Orientation and Leadership Academy. We’ve also been taking strides to improve our enterprise systems and processes so that we can remain an innovative part of modern healthcare. If you have any suggestions, we’d love to hear from you. Please feel free to call us at (510) 350-2600 with any comments or questions you may have. Best, Akilah & Bisaan

Pros

comparable compensation, close to freeway, you can be really doing nothing to work there - if you are "nice"

Cons

Bad culture based on personal loyalty only, if you are not a part of a "click" - you are out. To me - looks like a cult, not a really modern company.

Pros

Benefits are pretty good and the 401k plan is very generous. Met a a few really great people in my time with the company.

Cons

Management at MedAmerica is severely lacking. Communication, support and growth opportunity all need a review and revamp. It was very discouraging to work hard, add additional work and skills and be promised growth without delivery. There was little if no reward for taking on extra duties at MedAmerica and my perception was that brown nosing as opposed to hard work was met with positive acknowledgement and reinforcement. Experience with my managers was very negative and discouraging.
