Pros

Really really nice coworkers, truly great people.

Cons

Bret is the the largest shareholder, the chair of board, and CEO. Generating profit has become the sole focus of this enterprise. It has nothing to do with helping people anymore. Employees have just become a means to an end (higher profit). Additionally, the compensation is sub par - below market rate and a 2% bonus. Like many have mentioned, people have been brainwashed into thinking that the 'culture' can fill a gap in your pay check. Now that Bret & IBM consultants have deleted the culture and removed a few hundred associates, it is painfully obvious there we are all still underpaid and overworked.

The place has tanked… nothing special anymore

Pros

The people that are left

Cons

There’s not much left that is good about the place to speak of. The culture and morality that the company was founded on is being brutally dismantled by the CEO and his minions; white middle aged corporate guys that seem to multiply by the day. If you are a minority, this is not a good place for you. There is a new culture of fear and hierarchy that has been clearly demonstrated by the actions of leadership. You can get the same treatment anywhere but with better pay.

Pros

Good people, history of innovation, benefits are competitive.

Cons

Current CEO is basically Kendall Roy (HBO Succession Reference), doesn’t really know what he’s doing and holds the job because he literally inherited it. Senior management changes decisions on a whim. A company that used to be very big on culture and collaboration is all about ego and short term decision making. The company promotes these cult like values and philosophy and yet none of it seems to apply to company leadership. It’s a damn shame. What was once a great place is no longer. Run away and avoid at all costs.
