Poor leadership starts with Jeff the CIO. It trickles down into worse leadership in IT and possibly the worst of all the middle management layer. These are all people that performed so poorly at other companies that they were let go, and WIN Waste gladly picked them up. Working here offers nothing positive other than a paycheck. Until the incompetent leadership let you go and you will be let go.

The IT dept has a ton of turnover and is highly toxic due to the CIO Jeff Andress who is a bully and does not support his team. People scramble to meet unrealistic commitments made to the senior leadership and the Board and are rewarded with being pushed aside or being fired. If you interview, they noticed that there are Very few people who make it a year or two. Either they’ve been in the department since it started 3/4 years ago or are less than a year into their year. New hires simply aren’t supported. Also, the PTO starts at 3 weeks for sick and vacation, which is abysmal and the health PPO looks good on paper, but doesn’t cover much.
