Pros

Travel to different work sites everyday, transportation provided from office.

Cons

barely any training, lower expectations from employees(most could not work anywhere else), not a full time job but weird hrs prevent u from getting a 2nd job. unattainable count per hr goals which affect your raises and hrs scheduled.

Pros

You're done with most jobs after about 4 or 5 hours. The travelling can be at least somewhat interesting. Um, some places give you free food.

Cons

This is an awful job with ridiculously unfair demands. You are expected to get as high as possible a 'CPH' (counts per hour - ie, how many units you have inventoried in an average hour of work), but all this does is promote inaccuracy and rush jobs. The fact that you can actually be *fired* for getting too low a CPH is horrifying. Management can be incredibly rude and disrespectful of associates. They do not follow company policy. They do not allow time off for unpredicted events such as personal illness or a family emergency. It is far too easy to get hired. My interview consisted of the area manager saying hello, shaking my hand, asking me if I thought I could do this job, then telling me to come in for training on Friday. For a job that demands so much of your time and so much of you physically, the pay is, to put it bluntly, garbage. $8.15 an hour is not enough compensation for the job you have to do and the time you have to spend; especially since you only get that while you're actually counting things. The rest of the time you're not even paid minimum wage. Also, the job itself - the actual counting - is mind numbingly tedious.

Pros

You get to have time off when you need, providing you give them enough notice. The hours are very flexible, most days during the week your done by 2. Meeting good people and have some fun. good for advancement and compensation

Cons

As a manager you just walk around and watch what people are doing. It gets very tidious and boring. Always being on your feet sucks too. As a manager I wanted to help people develpo and with this job your just helping the bottom of the barrel people (who they hire as counters) to count quicker and more accurate. Not very motivating, and becomes boring, since its the same thing over and over again, day in and day out.
