      Worst outside sales job ever...

      Pros

      good work life balance, mileage reimbursement, company credit card for expenses, cell phone, lap top.

      Cons

      No marketing materials, impossible to close a deal with legal binding contracts and retention by competitors, very I repeat very price driven industry, no value selling at all, huge turn-over with manager and outside sales reps, impossible monthly goals, felt disrepected at regional sales meeting where all they did was bash the OSR's and praise the AM's. Bottom line this job sucks! It's truly a dirty business. One more thing Waste Management is the most expensive waste stream company out there.

      It payed well good benefits(That's It)

      Cons

      You are worked hard and expected to do it fast and safe . If you don't you will be fired. To many so called life critical rules,means if you break them you are fired. They use scare tactics to motivate you and make you feel less worth the trash you are collecting. You will have on board camera staring at your every move inside and out of cab so make sure you have that seat belt on or you are out of here. I could go on with more but I wont.

      Good company, but IT seems lost

      Pros

      Great benefits. Decent compensation. Reasonably stable work environment unless you are in IT.

      Cons

      IT is stuck in a downward spiral. Most people with options elsewhere are leaving. The rest are constantly worried about being laid off by a strong-armed leadership that wants results produced "no matter what".
