Pros

The pay and benefits were great, way above the national average only because they're teamsters. The benefits and perks are great. Tons of over time I was making around 80,000 a year

Cons

Treated like a number they don't care about their employees like they used to. Over priced losing business all over the area. Hires management "off the street" that doesn't one the first thing about the industry

Pros

The facility that we work is great. GM employees, large building, lots to do and different everyday.

Cons

Poor management. Some employees run free and don't work hardly at all, putting more work on others. Those who make the most money know the least about the processes and facility. Like to write things on paper, but are ridiculous and not effective in the workplace.

Pros

There weren't many. The pay wasn't even good - if you broke it down to the hour, it was just depressing. There are quarterly bonuses, but they don't do much to remedy this. The other route managers were great and helpful but they were often stretched thin. Most of the drivers were hard workers and good guys.

Cons

At least a dozen hours a week wasted in meetings that could each be summed up in a good 3 minute email. Upper management gives orders but no clear directions or schedules. The equipment is outdated and unsafe and the drivers are miserable. Absolutely no work/life balance - you will be working at least 12 hours a day, at least 5 days a week. The amount of vacation is a joke, and the insurance is expensive for a national company. I was offered a better job with almost half the hours, if that tells you anything.
