      You're an "Ops Manager" but not really....

      Pros

      *Okay-ish salary right after college for the industry *Manager title on your resume *Opportunity to transfer to a different department IF your current manager allows it.

      Cons

      *The company doesn't keep up with industry standard pay. Search the average salaries for an Operations Manager at WM versus elsewhere. *Upper management doesn't value employee loyalty or their sacrifice. Served 1 year or 5 years, bye bye. *Challenge the status quo? Good luck. They will see it as a threat to their toxic office practices and figure out a way to put you on the chopping block. *In addition to hiring and retaining accident/safety event prone and mentally unstable individuals, the company portrays Operation Managers as "dispatchers" giving the impression you have no authority, and of course you are treated as such. *You will, on occasion, be looked down upon by both drivers and upper management.

      No pros as per me all the managers are full of ego n attitude in their own world self obsessed with power and positions

      Cons

      No work life balance no hybrid mode or wfh
