• Old insurance company vibe, not modernized • No teamwork • Company recently swapped out entire executive staff and CEO, introduced a huge instability • Company performs shady tactics like advising people that their roles are being eliminated but secretly hires someone to replace them. • Company has no direction, upper management is lost and stressed out of their minds. • No company events, no holiday parties, team potlucks or anything to engage you with others. • Company is in serious financial jeopardy, they're downsizing and cutting anyone who makes over $80k. • Dead-end, no career progression • Company is not welcoming, no diversity, no employee engagement • No incentives or bonuses. "Boost points" stopped being handed out starting January 2024. • Hostile environment, dreary insurance people that are clinging to their job just for the sake of retirement benefits. Although now the company is cutting people just before retirement just to save a buck. • Violates federal government standards whilst falsely claiming to be following appropriate NIST standards. • Lost major contract which took half of the company's revenue. Company is struggling to stay above water.

I was forced to work from home even though my internet access was poor. They took my supervisor away for a special project and made me report to someone else. I was told to stop sending things back that were processed incorrectly because we don't want to make enemies of other departments. Even though the claims were clearly processed incorrectly. I was told to participate and to come to management anytime I needed help or was concerned. Then I was told I was participating to much and worrying for no reason. All to be told in a review that I needed to work on said things I was concerned about but was told not to worry. They back pedal on everything they say. They say what you want to hear and then later tell you the truth. Don't bother calling HR. Even though you tell them you are afraid of retaliation and want your report to be kept private. They still tell your management. I was fired 3 weeks after contacting HR and was told it was because I was creating computer problems. After I had asked to come back to the office and was told I was fine!
