Pros

This was by far the best job I've ever had. WSECU genuinely cares about their members and employees and it shows. The environment in which you work can make or break a job and I absolutely loved it. The only reason why I quit was because I had to move out of state. I would've worked there until I retired. Health benefits are great in comparison to the credit union I work at now, they understand a balance between family and work, there are bonuses paid based on performance and there are monthly dialogues regarding your progress so you're always learning and growing.

Cons

This position can be stressful at times and it has the tendency to be busy. It can be difficult at times to get days off as it is based on tenure. As a full time rep, you're also required to work every 3rd Saturday but it could definitely be worse.

Thank you for taking the time to tell us about your experience as a WSECU employee. Your feedback is very important to us. It’s amazing to hear employees say “this is…the best job I’ve ever had.” We are glad to hear that you loved the benefits. Work and family life balance are very important to WSECU, so generous time off is a must-have benefit here. Our Contact Center Representatives are indeed busy people! They are on the front lines, providing excellent and timely service to our equally busy members. Pros

WSECU sincerely cares about their employees, members and community. The salary is competitive, they work to hire from within when possible and staff/leadership development is a strong cultural value. Im proud to wear the brand out in the community and often hear from members how much they appreciate the service they receive at WSECU.

Cons

Brandwear is mostly unattractive. Pace of change can be dizzying! I realize that is the way of the world but we have really gone through many many many transitions in the past several years.

Pros

Benefits. Gym membership discount. Gym on site and nap rooms. Chances to volunteer in the community. Fun events for holidays

Cons

When I first started I thought WSECU was great! After about 6 months I realized it wasn't anything I expected. The department I particularly worked in (MSD) is extremely corrupted! Favoritism runs rampant. Managers pick on leads and specialist, I saw my lead be undermined in front of other employees by management and other employees. Their is no respect. Also, the department is full of gossip and rumor starters. WSECU presents a "we all in" attitude but it is far from that. Myself and others have gone to HR with zero results.
