      Pros

      Amazing benefits, medical paid, 8% 401k and more. Hard to find better benefits any where else.

      Cons

      Slow to advance, pay starts good but slow to increase.

WSECU is proud to show our commitment to our employees by offering outstanding benefits (at little or no cost for premiums for employees and their families!), along with fair and competitive wages and incentive programs. In order for us to continue to do all of this and to keep our commitment to no lay-offs, we must find a balance and maintain a reasonable and sustainable budget for merit increases. Our leadership works hard to establish this compensation philosophy that allows for such a balance, taking into account market trends, guidance from external compensation partners, and annual organization-wide pay equity audits.

      Like any job, it really depends on management. I got the short end of the stick and got notorious unreasonable bosses. The company it's self will have your back.

      Pros

      Employees care about one another, our members and the community, seriously. The desire to make a difference in people's lives permeates the organization. Our CEO is the BEST; he cares about employees and their well-being is a primary driver in all that we do.

      Cons

      Implementing change can sometimes be a challenge due to the highly collaborative culture.
