Pros

-Work life balance is excellent

Cons

-There are WAY too many developers. They need like a quarter of what they have. -There are WAY too many upper managers. They need like a quarter of what they have. -Management plays obvious favorites and is very incompetent. -Becoming more corporate every day. -Work is not challenging at all. -There are no career opportunities. -There is no culture. -ALOT of turnover which apparently doesn't concern management.

Pros

You can still find a handful of people at any location who care about doing a good job. If you are full-time, the PTO accrual is nice.

Cons

Top Con: The high concentration of nepotism and lack of accountability. You spend more time fending off office politics and general ignorance then you do making any decent contribution to your job. Some office locations may be good environments to work in, but mine was unacceptable - pest infestations, poorly maintained facilities, etc. During my stint at the Richardson, TX location there was a bomb threat from former disgruntled employees at the end of 2017 that forced the office to shut down for over a week. Hourly employees were out of luck. Total lack of professionalism from 80% of the employees/management, that ranged from their work ethic to their wardrobe choices and personal hygiene. Recruiting truly is a joke. They attempt to recruit talent way out of their league with the intent to harvest information and discard professionals more experienced than their typical employee. I assume that's if the department is desperate and can't fill the spot internally - maintaining mediocrity is still the preference. Management does nothing really except push paper around, maintain client relationships, and blame subordinates for their screw-ups. Any change around process, procedures, and effective execution of anything is left to the small percentage of more experienced mid-level employees to figure out with no guidance. Did I mention the pay was crap? Yeah, expect to be paid well below the market average for any type of position. The second star is given only for the handful of employees who thought they were signing up with a good company, didn't immediately bolt for the exit when they found out it wasn't as advertised and tried to bring a little order to the chaos.
