Pros

- Ability to work from home sometimes (This was being limited more and more, but management still seems to get away with WFH whenever they'd like) - Benefits package is at least acceptable as they give you plenty of options to choose from - Casual attire - Most offices have transitioned to open office spaces with no dedicated seating - You can temporarily work from other offices across the country (Which is being limited by management now also) - Sometimes there's free food (leftovers from meetings) - Minneapolis office has free drinks

Cons

- Management states they want to listen to colleagues' inputs on process improvements, training, etc. However, they provide no immediate action - All persons in management do not understand how to effectively manage people. - There is a lot of "Cover you own butt" mentality between you and your colleagues and you and your clients. - Work assignments are not equally distributed between team members and management does not provide any reasonable proof as to why that is the case. - You should expect to work more than 60 hours a week for months on end from May to August and/or October to March. - If you're favored in this position, expect it to be hard to transition to any other team. - There's a lot of CYA when you request PTO and you have to request PTO across 5-7 of your different teams before you're able to ask your manager. They need to make sure the clients you're on have people working when you're off.

We appreciate you sharing your comments and feedback on working at Willis Towers Watson. We adopt a total rewards philosophy which, in addition to our base pay, incorporates broader elements that differ from country to country. For example we have: performance bonus programs, pension plans, travel and insurance discounts, health care benefits and work-life balance practices all designed to provide opportunities to support growth, performance and work-life integration (as you mentioned) to reward our colleagues.
