Pros

The compensation can be good if your store is in increase from last year. Get valuable management experience that will prepare for anything else you decide to do after. Easy to go from trainee to manager. Pretty easy/simple protocol to run your store. Should have hands on managers since their pay is based off your performance. Perfect job for someone with no commitments. Get 3 well deserved vacations a year.

Cons

Takes away alot of your time from family or whatever else you do outside of work. Always on call 24/7. The 6 & 2 off day rotation can change on circumstances. After working 50-60hr weeks, 1 day off isn't enough. Under certain circumstances you can lose your 2 days off. Div mgrs are known to work on their days off. Mgmt sometimes pressures you to manipulate numbers to meet bonus minimums. You can't survive on the base pay. The bonus pay system pressures you to do somethings you may not want to do, i.e. hire unreliable lazy people to meet the people quota. You will encounter people & situations from all walks of life, alcoholics, abuse victims, drug fiends, cheaters, homeless, thieves; & these are the employees I'm talking about. Some managers will screw you over (steal and cheat) on purpose to make themselves look better, same goes for manager trainees. They have nothing to lose because they're floating from store to store. The standard for WH & its employees are low.

Pros

Stock options, 3 vacations a year with one being a 10 day

Cons

No outside life, they keep you away from your family, being stuck working doubles, triples and occasionally a quadruple, lowered salary from when started, cell phone is going off constantly.

Pros

I literally cannot think of one positive thing that I experienced while working with this company. It was just that bad.

Cons

Constantly working over 16 hours a day. Unit managers are required to be at the job for 6:30 AM. Many days you don't get off until after 4. As a unit manager, you are required to return to your store EVERY FRIDAY, SATURDAY, AND SUNDAY at 8pm for drawer change. Many times I did not get home from drawer change until 10pm. HR constantly hires cook and servers who are not competent. When the store is not fully staffed, guess who is required to fill in. The unit manager. NO FAMILY TIME, EVER. On top of this, I was promised quiet a larger sum of money when I first started. When I brought this to the attention of my District Manager, him and the Division Manager continued on with their empty claims to pay me more. When you factor in the amount of hours I was actually there, I was getting paid less than $10 an hour, and I have a bachelors degree. Another terrible con, this company is YEARS behind technology wise. This made simple tasks that should have taken 30 minutes or so require nearly triple the amount of time.
