Pros

You get a paycheck. You have health insurance which you’ll need for the antidepressants and blood pressure meds you’ll need to survive your shifts.

Cons

I cannot stress this enough: DO NOT WORK HERE IF YOU HAVE OR WANT A FAMILY!! This company is a train wreck headed straight for disaster. The new CEO should step down and take his executive staff with him. They are all so insanely out of touch and beyond ignorant. People get promoted into management that have ZERO people skills, leadership skills and are incapable of performing the department’s entry level positions without continuously asking for assistance from subordinates. This puts additional work and responsibilities onto you for, you guessed it, no extra money! Management makes sure you know that they do not have time to assist you, answer questions, attend meetings that they told you to schedule, etc. They are “so busy.” Departments are being run into the ground by inept supervisors leaving lower level employees running in circles and leaning on each other. The harder you work, the worse it is for you. You will not receive promotions, pay increases or even get a thank you for a job well done. What you will get is increased workloads, more responsibilities like training new associates and when asked for proper compensation, you’ll hear all about the budget. A multi-million dollar cooperative that constantly talks about its budgeting issues. Not enough staff? Budget issues. Overworked? Budget. Underpaid? Budget. If you have kids, relatives, pets literally anything that requires your attention, you should think twice. They make it very clear that you cannot call out sick to care for your family, attend doctor’s appointments or you’ll be met with whispers and stares when you return to work again. This is the least supportive employer I’ve ever seen when it comes families. This place is so soul-shatteringly toxic. Don’t all apply at once!

Pros

There are no good things to say anymore.

Cons

Everything. New leadership is completely out of touch and driving this place right into the ground. Have been here over 10 years and I can’t believe how bad it has gotten. Layoffs, firings, toxic work culture that they try to ignore and say how happy everyone is. No one is happy.
