Pros

Pay and bonus is great when compared to other retailers. Lots of personal growth available for someone that has never been in a retail management position before, specifically with learning processes and their impacts to store performance and developing working partnerships with peers. When you're in a store where your store manager allows you to spend time in your department, days are incredibly productive.

Cons

As an AP Ops Coach, your performance and development is truly dependent on your store manager. Some store managers may see you as an extra "set of hands" and pull you from your day-to-day duties, thereby impacting your performance. AP Coaches report to the Store Manager and the AP Operations Lead (APOL) and they don't always see eye to eye so you may be caught in the middle. Learning to push back and saying NO to store managers becomes the norm, in some situations, in order to complete the tasks set by your APOL. Work/life balance is almost non-existent.

Pros

Great pay. Good cash bonus. 401k and Stock Purchase Program. Health benefits. PTO.

Cons

Short staffed on management. Long days. Can get crazy in the retail environment. Sometimes there are unreachable goals.
