Pros

Walmart does provide health insurance, the opportunity for advancement, and flexible scheduling. Also, there is an opportunity for associates to share, very minimally, in the profits with a program called "MyShare."

Cons

Unfortunately, Wal-mart does not provide adequate compensation in comparison to the level of professionalism they require. Wal-mart is really more suited to college students and part-time employees simply in need of a little extra cash. Also, preferential treatment reigns; so, if you intend to advance, make friends with your management team.

Pros

The scheduling is pretty flexible, if you are looking for a job to go along with your schooling this is a decent place to work.

Cons

The interactions between employees and management are non-existent, try saying hi... Treated with 0 respect from management or customers as a regular associate.
