Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us. We’re glad to hear that you appreciate the compensation and benefits package overall—we’ve worked hard to ensure our compensation is competitive and supportive of our employees. Regarding your concern about front gross incentives, this does bring up a key difference in our approach. We intentionally shifted away from incentivizing gross profit back in 2001 because our focus is on the customer journey. When profit becomes the primary driver, it can detract from the customer experience and impact our company culture in ways we want to avoid. Instead, we’ve prioritized providing strong base compensation and enhanced benefits to create a more stable and rewarding work environment. We appreciate your feedback and always strive to improve. If you have additional insights or suggestions, we’d love to hear them. Please contact your direct supervisor or feel free to reach out to me (ltrett@walser.com) or our campus president directly, Randy Lammle (rlammle@walser.com). We would be happy to have a conversation with you. Thank you for being part of our team! Lindsey Trett Walser's Director of Talent Acquisition

Pros

I've been working at Walser for 2 1/2 years now and it's been the best proffessional experience i have had to date. Management truly cares and Walser does a lot of things to keep employees engaged and to show appreciation! The corporate team makes a big effort to make it out to the stores and be responsive and support our stores! Some of the standouts for me are: - Turkey drop: Every employee gets a free turkey for thanksgiving - Family day: Every MN employee and their family gets to go to valleyfair with the company in the fall! - ERG Employee engagement events

Cons

One con for some can be the fast paced and chaotic nature of automotive. We don't do everything perfect and we do implement a lot of changes that requires work on the backend to accomplish. In my mind i'm fine with it, but it can be a work environment that requires getting used to!

Pros

The CHRO is the true leader at the helm. She’s hands down the best leader I’ve ever had the pleasure of working with—empathetic, accountable, and inspiring. If it were just the two of us, I’d have stayed forever. I learned more from her in six months than I did in 20 years at my previous company. The VP of Operations is also a tremendous asset to the company. He works tirelessly to ensure the stores are running smoothly. The HR team is skilled, always responsive, and an absolute joy to collaborate with.

Cons

The lack of trust and unclear processes from leadership made my role increasingly difficult and frustrating, eventually making it unsustainable for me. It just wasn’t the right fit for either of us.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us. We truly appreciate your comments about our CHRO, VP of Operations, and HR team. Their leadership is rooted in both performance and a focus on people, which is fundamental to our culture. It's great to hear that you found the HR team's guidance and collaboration valuable. We acknowledge that every workplace has its challenges, and we regret that aspects of trust and process clarity impacted your experience with us. Feedback like yours helps us refine our approach to better support our employees, especially those who are directing a function. We sincerely appreciate your contributions during your time at Walser and wish you the very best in your future career journey. —Walser Automotive Group
