Pros

I personally enjoyed the people that I worked with at Warner Music Group. The people there are not competitive. It's a very relaxed atmosphere.

Cons

Although, I'm sure there are a lot of perks one of the reason I didn't want to work there is because of the pay. At an entry level position they wanted to pay between $25k- 35k.

Pros

Cutting-edge digital media innovator; a chairman deeply concerned and passionate about taking care of artists, employees and the future of the music business; smart and funny culture that prizes creative thinking and is hungry for good ideas, wherever they're from. Good benefits, good pay - what's not to like?

Cons

It's both good and bad: the industry as a whole is in crisis stemming from piracy. That means everyone's nervous about where things are headed, but it also means there's an excitement about making the digital transition real.

Pros

There are many mentors willing to help you if you just take the time to talk to them. The employees are friendly and down to earth. The free concert tickets are a plus, as well as the frequent celebrity sightings (if you are working in the main headquarters at Rockafeller Center).

Cons

It would not be uncommon to walk down the hallway and see some of employees instant messaging their friends...so think what you will about worker productivity. If you like to sleep late, this is the job for you; everyone comes in late (around 10:00). However, the flipside is working late. There are a lot of lateral promotions, so don't expect to stay in the same department.
