Pros

Good hours if you work there over the summer and are a student. Lots of breaks (though they are working to fix that).

Cons

Don't expect too much progress. Most people show up to get their hours in. Lack of motivation on some parts of the staff.

Pros

I worked in the Office of Technology served the College of Business. The management that ran the office was top notch. They were extremely knowledgeable, courteous, and friendly. They would put you in positions where you would succeed. They would allow you to pursue personal interests, as long as it is work related.

Cons

It was a little different working for the University because everyone that I worked with outside of the full time employees were students. the students were students first and employees second. so sometimes it was difficult to get small projects done due to other obligations.
