Pros

They have some good employees, some good ideas. 1st week training is fantastic, but all non medical. Providers get no trsining, but are expected to guess what expectations are. EMR training very good too.

Cons

Terrible communication between upper management/HR and staff. Expectation is to be available to see patients anytime between 8 and 5 pm, no blocked admin time. Frequent meetings. Patients late 45 min? No problem, you still get to see them, and no worries, the expectation is that you do a full assessment, they will tell you all whats missing next time you meet the patient! Very negative feel. Documentation has to be closed same day (not 24 hours like they tell you in interview). This translates into working past 5 pm, after sitting at desk for 9 hrsx5 days a week On call with no compensation. Multiple New patients daily, not uncommon to have 4 new complex patients in a day. Don't let the number of Patients deceive you! These are very complex patients with multiple risks and comorbidities in Addictions, Mental Health and Primary Care. Answer crisis calls in addition to patients. Micromanaging is a huge issue. Non medical staff telling you how to practice. EMR and technology doesn't work half the time. Very frustrating. Also much belittleling going on towards medical staff.

Pros

Have a sense of belonging and mission here ..most everyone does. CEO is a culture animal with high energy pushing everyone to perform. The office is hip and cool with food, darts a keg and more, healthy food is provided and lunch on Wednesdays. Big growth and clients are happy. Leader keeps us focused and in the know with town meetings talking results. Have built friendships here and feel good about what I do for the first time in years.

Cons

company is growing fast and job requirements change often but they need to not everyone is pulling their weigh

Pros

Axial is a place unlike any other. For the first time in my life, I look forward to going into the office each day. The group of people here is amazing, and the interview process is thorough to ensure a good cultural fit. Each day you come into a work environment where people truly care about you, your thoughts, your happiness, and your role. On top of a positive work environment, we are treated like gold. The company provides fully stocked kitchens to include A TON OF snacks, coffee, sodas, energy drinks, and catered lunch every Wednesday! The office vibe is progressive allowing casual dress, pets in the office, and even a kegerator in our dart lounge. To top it off.. we are located in Cummins Station! Right in the center of everything that is Nashville. As if this wasn’t enough, the company pays my student loan each month on top of contributing monthly to an HSA account. Pay is above average for each position in the Nashville area. There are regular events that are so fun! Catered food, open bars... Axial provides its staff with the best of the best. I have finally found my forever job and it’s exciting. Knowing we each are contributing to a greater cause is also so motivating! We are a health-tech company that not only cares about helping our insurance providers drive down cost, but we care equally about patient outcomes and mitigating the opioid crisis that is so prevalent in our country. This is a company that is going places, and fast.

Cons

There really aren’t any. As a start up, there is a period of time where identifying roles and solidifying what each person owns can change and bounce around. We are still in that phase in some aspects, but everyone is flexible and it doesn’t seem to be a problem.
