Pros

Management is caring, welcoming and insists on family vs work life. Onboarding and training are detailed making sure there is a comfort level to do the best job. Waystar technology has many capabilities to meet customer needs.

Cons

The hiring process took about 3 months from time of application submitted to employment offer. If I did not have severance from previous employment, I would not have been able to wait it out.

-my teams leadership is OUTSTANDING -good balance of established practices with enough room to work how you feel is best -company culture -internal promotions / cross hires -work life balance is excellent -I never feel micromanaged

Cons

-mid range pay -huge learning curve if you’re an outside hire (as in outside the industry) -benefits are a little expensive for me + spouse but the coverage is good

N/A since the comapny went public the work environment is numbers - numbers - numbers

Cons

Female SMEs are ignored and treated dismissively, male applicants with little to no qualifications are frequently promoted or given new roles and titles before women with more experience and tenure, final performance reviews often contain events never before discussed
