Pros

Hard to think of many pros other than work from home forever (digital first), which also has a con. I did hear this was once a fun place to work for but most reminiscent on it knowing the “fun” behind this company is long gone.

Cons

Beware before applying for the following reasons: 1. this is a private equity owned company which means not many opportunities for advancement, no 401k matching and a constant focus on profits as the only real winners are upper management when it gets sold off. 2. There has been a TON of turnover both at senior management level all the way down to well just about every group. All new senior leadership which was hired seems to not have a single common goal. All seem to think their way is the only way and clients are the ones who are suffering most from this attitude. For a company whose goal is to deliver a software platform and any associated useful data needed to run a business I doubt one senior leader is willing to work together with another to provide clients with what they need. As a common worker probably not a battle most want to wander into if looking for a job. 3. Most employees seem demoralized and lack any interest in helping each other which goes back to why “digital first” might not work well for everyone. If you are one who can figure out what a company does and what your role in the company is with zero written or spoken instructions or explanations then maybe it’s for you. Pretty much make up your own job because whatever work you do won’t matter much anyway as directions shift constantly. I could probably go on but I think the point is made whatever this company once was is long gone and no one has a direction for its future.

Not what I was expecting

Pros

So far their checks haven't bounced. The office is pretty cool, although I'd rather sacrifice the coolness for function (like parking, bathrooms, lunchroom, safety in location and no baby on site). The central location is very nice for people getting to work from different parts of the valley.

Cons

Despite the other reviews that were posted by either marketing, management or a few brown nosers, this is not a very well run company. The problem rests with the management team who are inept and clueless and obviously lack experience in management. They expect total loyalty but do little to earn it. And they use "start up" as an excuse for all the problems. I won't go into details since no one wants read about me whining about my job. Just think seriously before accepting a job here. If you interview, don't view the company through rose colored glasses, but really see what's showing behind the cracks in the facade. Feel the environment and look at the faces of the employees. Does it feel happy to you? Look at how the office is set up to your disadvantage as an employee and ask yourself how you'll be treated. Look at the disproportionate size of the office the management team carved for themselves ... it's not a family, it's an oligarchy. And lastly, if they do make you an offer, know the management prides itself on lowballing people. Do yourself a favor and keep looking. For the record, I'm not disgruntled. I just find the environment tedious and personally unrewarding. The promises of change evaporated into same old, same old.

Great for millenials, not for a career

Pros

casual dress code, lots of alcohol flowing, centrally located downtown, start up tech company type feel, a lot of freedom if you are able to self manage, great workplace for millenials

Cons

Poor management, high turnover. Lack of accountability for underperformers, Definitely a high school environment where those in the "in crowd" have the opportunity to advance. Definitely a relationship based environment, but too many decisions made based on relationships, not on business sense. Parking is a challenge. No 401-k matching, benefits arent that great, and payscale has improved over the years - but still isn't meeting market demands. Lots of Management leaving lately - have to wonder why.
