Where do I start, In my very short tenure at Webanywhere, my role changed 4 times. There was never a clear Vision for me in terms of my role, responsibilities, KPIs and how to achieve them. The CEO has a wealth of experienced, knowledgeable staff around him but any advice falls on deaf ears, it’s quite possibly the most frustrating thing to witness. My main mentor in the business constantly had excellent suggestions which were point blank ignored if it didn’t support his strategy, because he was the ‘expert’ of course. He has a total disregard for work/life balance and expects that in this day in age you should drop everything to come to the office, immediately, no questions asked, despite posing as an advocate for hybrid working on social media platforms such as LinkedIn. If you do not want your staff to be hybrid don’t advertise the role as that. There’s absolutely no trust in the staff, in fact once I was accused of “fudging stats” and when I challenged this, and advised all notes were on the accounts, it was clear that no actual investigation had taken place, just a couple of calls listen to by Webanywheres very own Sherlock holmes.
