Why you should apply for a position at webasto roofing systems
Pros
The management team (specifically in the shipping department) is among the absolute best group of individuals that I have ever had the pleasure of working underneath. (Specifically my direct supervisor Kevin/ and my coworkers Larry Ronnie, Chris, Tim, patrick and in the PU department Joe) ..starting off with the shipping department supervisor Kevin.. the guy is among the best people in the plant. The guy has been nothing but understanding and accommodating to me regarding my tardiness since I found out about my mother’s health situation (cancer stage 4) . I couldn’t ever ask for a better supervisor in the world. This guy has been amazingly good to me when honestly I would have already fired myself if I was in his position. Having said that (there is only so much that a supervisor can do for an employee no matter the situation. The money is good. (Not great, but good). Now onto the coworkers. I couldn’t believe how good of a group that they actually are. I would almost be willing to state that all of the management team in the Lexington Kentucky plant and 95% of the employees are of the highest caliber of managers and coworkers that I have ever had the pleasure of working under and along side. For these reasons alone I would suggest that you apply for a full time position
Cons
The money could be a tad bit better just due to the fact of the pace that you have to run at the entire shift. The hours could be a little more normal ( like 7-7 or a 2/2/3 schedule. So there aren’t any cons that I can think of at the moment. They have had company lunches for us at least 4 times since I have been there and I’ve only been there for three months. So go work at webasto. You would be a fool not to
