The company ignores the very little data it collects and markets Weedmaps to stoners who buy their product from the unregulated market instead of a broader consumer base. The B2B customers are right in thinking that Weedmaps doesn't care about cannabis businesses; Weedmaps raised their prices 4x with no added value to customers and the same terrible product. Needless to say, no money or lip service is paid to social equity businesses. With federal legalization around the corner and Weedmap's biggest competitor being Google Maps, just sell that sh*t for parts while you can. All in all, as an employer, saas, and B2C platform, Weedmaps is a dusty, crusty, rancid bag of bammer weed, slowly decomposing.
