Pros

-Full-time Benefits are okay, along with PTO. -entry level position - Working with the mentally ill can be rewarding. -Paid training days -Managers will work with you on time and finding replacements for uncovered shifts. -Being able to work with residents and teach them things that will help them in the future can be rewarding to morale -great job for a college student looking for some experience in the mental health sector

Cons

-Not very much room for upward mobility. -You will be expected to take residents to places for little pay and little to no coverage on vehicles driven. -Pay for residential work is low, might as well work at Mc. Donalds for the same wage and benefits, they may even pay more. It can be very boring at times, the work pace stays the same for the most part. -Employee are expected to teach and care for residents with little pay and little to no resources. -Training is poor, workers are expected to submit notes in a timely manner without proper training and little pay. Also training for other tasks is poor. - You will be expected to train new and incoming staff on using software for documenting without any compensation.
