Pros

Company is very stable and open, benefits are excellent, on site fitness center and cafe is among the best in SE Wisconsin. Great place to work if you are in insurance side, not so much for the IT side.

Cons

PMO was transferred out of IT and that was the best thing that happened for us. IT lost a lot of good people due to a deliberate effort to cut salary and drive experience (i.e. high salaries) out of the company. If you're on the inside, you were safe, but eventually what comes around goes around - the PMO managers who let go of a lot of the old PMs eventually got "forced out" as well. Don't see many "20 year" employees in IT.

Pros

Great campus! I general the employees are friendly. Many different events geared at employee engagement. Competitive compensation. Good benefits package.

Cons

Disconnect between upper management and mid-level management when announcing goals and vision. Some departments are currently over-worked but hopefully this will pass soon. If you live in the metro area, the commute can be a bit far.

Beautiful campus, great onsite clinic, good cafeteria. Pockets of solid leadership that can move the company forward. Good financial position.

Cons

Middle management in IT needs some rework. Focus is on time logged on time sheets versus results and accomplishments.
