Low salary. Extremely hostile work environment. Workplace mistreatment rampent. Predators are protected to continue to harm students, faculty and staff for years. The worst place I have ever worked. I would not wish my greatest enemy to work here.

I watched my department lose half its faculty and staff and 70% of its budget over 15 years while the administration continues to hire more worthless administrators. When we try to tell any administrator that we can no longer sustain our department, we are told to "suck it up" or "just work harder." Faculty and staff morale is in the toilet. Over the past several years, the upper level administration has moved from calling us departments to "revenue-generating units." There is no appreciation for any factulty, staff, or student. We're just there to serve the administrators. I'm much happier now that I've retired. Nothing but bitter memories of that place.
